The SENSHES GmbH was founded in early 2010 by Dr. Ulrich Mattke as scientifically-oriented consulting company for engineering and occupational safety. Its main objective is to support the knowledge transfer between research, teaching and best business practice.
The founder is experienced in OHS matters for nearly 20 years by
- his research work and teaching at the Department of Occupational Safety, University of Wuppertal,
- managing various projects in collaboration with German governmental OHS organisations and statutory accident insurance bodies,
- product development during his occupation as research director of a large service company for health and safety technologies,
- his participation in the field of European standardization of PPE, which is also reflected in numerous publications.
This way a far-reaching, cross-country expertise could be developed. He is also very well connected with acknowledged professional colleagues who can be involved for specific projects. OHS legal compliance is becoming increasingly important in the European Economic Area.
